RED SHIFT is a contemporary abstract painting defined by movement, contrast and a striking balance of black, white and vivid red.
Expansive white space gives the composition an open, minimalist quality, while bold black forms create structure across the canvas. Expressive horizontal marks introduce a sense of motion, leading the eye toward the distinctive red form that becomes the focal point of the artwork.
The restrained palette allows the red accents to command attention without overwhelming the composition. Graphic yet sophisticated, RED SHIFT works beautifully in modern living rooms, dining spaces, offices, entryways, bedrooms and contemporary bathrooms.
In smaller sizes, the painting adds a controlled pop of color to an intimate space. At larger scales, RED SHIFT becomes a dramatic architectural statement while maintaining the openness and negative space that define the design.
Each RED SHIFT painting is individually hand-painted . This is not a print or mechanically reproduced canvas. Because every painting is created by hand, natural variations in brushwork, texture, line and detail will occur while preserving the overall composition and character of the original design.
