Wild Current is an expressive original abstract painting filled with movement, contrast and spontaneous energy.
Sweeping layers of vivid green, fiery orange and red move through areas of black, white and soft neutrals, accented by unexpected touches of yellow and turquoise. Loose gestural marks and layered brushwork create a composition that feels energetic and organic, while the elongated format gives the piece a strong architectural presence.
At 60 inches wide, Wild Current was created to make an impact. Its horizontal orientation works beautifully above a sofa, console, dining setting or bed. For a completely different presentation, the artwork may also be displayed vertically, transforming it into a dramatic statement for an entryway, hallway or narrow wall.
Hand-painted on canvas, this is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art.
